EDM and ketamine keep functioning as substrate-aligned attractors not because of what they do to your neurology (though that’s real), and not because you’ve unconsciously learned to seek them out (though that’s also real).

They keep functioning as attractors because under EMT, they are genuine implementations of the primary mechanisms by which meaning stabilizes, propagates, and makes contact across the boundary between potentiality and actuality.
